eEuroparts com Now Carrying Genuine Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, and Audi Parts

Posted on: February 7, 2013

eEuroparts.com has announced that they have started carrying Volkswagen, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz genuine parts, in addition to the thousands of Saab, Volvo, and BMW genuine parts already in stock.

eEuroparts.com was founded in 2000 as a small Saab parts company, and as they grew over the next decade they slowly added Volvo and BMW to their growing parts catalog. In 2012, as demand grew from long time and new customers alike, eEuroparts added thousands of Volkswagen, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz aftermarket and OEM parts. The response was big, and customers began requesting more genuine parts in addition to the new OEM offerings. eEuroparts responded with a huge influx of genuine parts for their newly added VW, Audi, and Mercedes lines. They hope customers will be just as enthusiastic with the thousands of new genuine parts as they were with the OEM versions.

eEuroparts.com has also made some changes to their processes and website that bear mentioning. In the past, it took anywhere from 5-7 business days to secure special order and backordered BMW parts. Now eEuroparts can get those same quality parts at the same low prices in 2-4 business days, cutting the lead time in half. If a customer needs a BMW part that is not currently in stock, they can now deliver that part up to a week earlier than before.

Finally, as part of their continuing effort to make eEuroparts.com a better experience, they've made a small change to their Vehicle Selector that has made a big impact on the speed and ease of navigation. In the past, customers would choose Year – Make – Model – Category in order to select their vehicle and search for parts for that specific car. In the new version, eEuroparts.com has changed the fields to Year – Make – Model – Engine, while the Select a Category field remains on the left hand side of the page.

This change has streamlined the vehicle selection process. In the past, selecting a Model was often an unwieldy task for Makes that had many Model/Engine type combinations. Some BMW years have 60+ models when all the engine variations are included. By separating the Model from the Engine, eEuroparts has made finding the exact car faster and easier. For example, instead of searching through 46 2008 BMW model/engine combinations  all at once, a shopper will now see only 23 models, and then choose from one to four engine types depending on the model selected. If there is only one engine type for a particular model, the site will automatically take the user to the car's Year-Make-Model page. From there, it's one click to the category. This is a tiny change that has greatly improved speed and function.
