Upper oil pan gasket (pan to block). 1 per car. The engine oil pan gasket is the seal between the engine oil pan and the bottom of the engine. The gasket is designed to prevent leaks during engine operation. When removing or replacing the engine oil pan, replacing the oil pan gasket is recommended.
