These emblems can be changed by simply prying off and replacing them. When doing so, it’s a good idea to replace the soft plastic grommets that hold them securely in the body. Vehicle model emblems (Aero, 328i) are usually simpler, just held on with high adhesion double sided tape. You can use an adhesive remover and heat to get rid of the left behind residue so that you can stick the new emblem on.
