How to use eEuroparts.com My Projects

eEuroparts My Projects

It’s pretty common for people to want to save a part or their entire cart for later.  That’s why we have a feature on our site called My Projects.  eEuroparts.com My Projects does three important things that can be helpful for the planning and staging phases of European car ownership. That’s the ability to save multiple carts into projects, the ability to be notified when a part becomes available, and help customers service help you with some parts you are thinking about.

1. eEuroparts.com My Projects: Save Multiple Carts

When you have multiple cars or projects in mind, you’ll occasionally want to save individual carts for later when you’re not ready to buy or are planning a service or upgrade in the future.  To do this, add the parts you want to your cart and find the floppy disk icon (people still know what those are right?).  You’ll be able to save your entire cart for later.  This is the most popular feature of My Projects.  From here you can also share your shopping cart if you were to so choose.

eEuroparts My Projects Save A Cart

To view your saved projects, log into your account and find the My Projects link.

There you will find all of your saved projects for easy access.

If you’re ready to buy the parts in a project, just open the project and find the Add To Cart button at the bottom.  If there are things in your project that you don’t want to buy, just remove them using the [remove] link.

2. Notify you when parts become available

Sometimes you will find a part for a project you have in mind might not be available right now, whether it be out of stock or backordered.  If you add that part to a project, you will get an email notification when that product becomes available again, simply hit the save button next to it and add it to a project.  If you don’t already have one, make a new one!  If an item is out of stock, and comes into stock, it will shoot you a quick email notifying you that it’s ready to buy.  More importantly, if an item is back-ordered, like the example below, once it becomes buyable again the system will let you know via email.

3. Help you ask a question to customer service

When you save something to a project, it becomes easily viewable to customer service.  If you have a question about which part to buy, just add it to a project before giving them a call (800 467 9769).  They’ll be able to log in and access your project and help with any questions you might have about the parts inside.  Customer Service cannot view parts that are only sitting in your cart, and will ask you to add them to a project before proceeding.
