A great upgrade to any BMW is the UUC Clutch Kit. All of their flywheel and clutch kits come with a lightweight single mass flywheel and your choice of clutch disc. This can range from a performance organic clutch material for street cars which can also be used on the track, to segmented Kevlar and muli-puck discs for dedicated track use in high power applications. They did away with the problematic self-adjusting pressure plate and now use a higher rated pressure plate for greater clamping force while still retaining some of the OEM pedal feel. Of course, if you choose to keep a dual mass flywheel setup, UUC has a clutch kit for that also. 
Performance spring kits are also available in the highest quality form. The Tuned Spring Set was developed with street performance in mind, combining an attractive 1.25″ lowering with a substantial increase in handling capability and resistance to body roll during cornering. Most of these spring sets were designed for the enthusiast who uses the car every day; which retain an original-equipment level of ride comfort by utilizing a progressively-wound construction technique. By testing, designing, and manufacturing with Swedish spring manufacturer Lesjofors, the Tuned Spring Set passes the rigid DAR certification, earning full TUV approval and ISO 9002 certification.
