If you are looking for some light at the end of the cold rainy tunnel known as April, look no further than Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for the New England Dustoff. This annual event is geared towards the VW/Audi community with show classes for each generation. However, all makes and models are welcome in the exhibition and spectator parking lot. It is a family-friendly event, and the organizers work hard to retain a low key, enjoyable day for car enthusiasts of all ages. Kids 12 and under are even given free admission.

The New England Dustoff festivities kick off Saturday, April 29 at 5pm with a Parade lap around the track to benefit the FoundationBlue charity. If you are looking for some night life, the event organizers transform the onsite garages at Thompson into their Party in the Paddocks event with food, bar service, DJ, and some quality cars on display. This one is for the big kids, starts at 9pm, and has a 21+ age requirement. Free shuttle service is available from the Holiday Inn Express in Auburn.
The New England Dustoff main event starts on Sunday, April 30 with gates opening at 9am for show cars and general admission, judging begins at high noon (12pm), and awards are handed out between 2 and 3pm.
